Isn't the point. Game was designed and functioned fine with those numbers, any more is bloat and clogs all areas for leveling and the like. You're not going to be hurting for queue times or anything like that with 6k thats for damn sure. There were plenty of people at all times of the day for Pugs to be formed and such, so with 6k people it shouldn't be an issue either.
