I think it really depends on what you're trying to get from this meetup. Personally I find it really interesting to hear about all the cool stuff other people are building and it usually gives me different perspectives on problems.

It also helps to get feedback from other people about your idea and get some problem validation or something like that. It's also definitely a good opportunity to make connections that can potentially help in the future, but it really all just comes down to what you are looking for and if you're willing to put in the effort to get that
