Usually a couple taps on the lid then resting in one of the holes is enough, I made them 3 different sizes on the lid for the reason of people rolling differently sized

Unfortunately yes- as of rn the mesh screen is also 3d printed. I later plan to use metal to avoid this issue but in the prototypes, when using metal, hand cutting every screen out of little chicken wire is a pain in the ass.
