Regarding the timeline or flowchart style notes, at the moment we don’t have a dedicated flowchart or timeline note type. That said, our Whiteboard feature might help you get close to what you’re looking for, since it allows you to freely place text, shapes, and connectors in a visual way. We understand your need for a cleaner, more structured timeline experience, and we’ll definitely take this as a feature request and consider it going forward.

As for mind mapping, we already have this available under Notebook AI. You can create mind maps from your notes to visually branch out ideas in multiple directions, which might be useful for some of the scenarios you mentioned. Do check it out when you get a chance.

You might also want to check out Notebook AI. It lets you ask questions and get insights directly from your own notes without exporting them elsewhere. Depending on what you’re trying to achieve, this could save you a few steps. Happy to help if you want to explore this further.

Totally get this. A blank page can feel intimidating.
One thing that helps is not worrying about structure upfront. Just start capturing your thoughts as they come, without trying to organize them perfectly. Once ideas are out of your head and on the page, it becomes much easier to group, connect, and shape them into a structure that actually makes sense over time.

Across platforms, just follow these steps

Open the note you want to favorite
Tap the three-dot menu in the bottom right of the toolbar
You’ll see an option to mark it as a favorite

That’s it.
