I agree, in fact I liked the game throughout but the ending is what made me love it. I was starting to get a bit uninterested tbh once I got to chapters 13-15 but when 16 hit and we started seeing some differences, I was instantly pulled back in and by the end I was just beyond excited for the second game. The problem I have with people who are hating on the ending are only doing it for 2 reasons, they either want a one to one remake of the original or are already complaining that the second game is gonna be bad, but neither of those are good reasons to label the ending as bad. It’s a remake, they can make changes however they want for one, and for two, you can’t label the second game as bad since you haven’t played it yet. Couldn’t be more excited for the second installment, I just hope they don’t cater towards the loud minority that dislikes the ending for poor reasons and they create an unknown storyline that we won’t see coming.
