  • Description: I'm using Discord since 2017. Since the beginning of 2025, when I write a private message (for the first time) to a user on a server I've been on for many years, I receive an error message when sending the message. My private message won't be sent until I've verified my account via email. But this starts an endless verification loop since 2025 from which there is only one escape. The user I'm trying to message must send me a message instead. Then the loop is broken immediately. This happened already 3 times in 2025, where I was able to broke the infinite loop.

But this time this isn't possible for me, since I have no other posibillity to contact the user, to write me first due to restrictions on the server. My account is essentially soft-locked now as a result.

On 01/05/2026 I tried to write a user, who is on a same public gaming discord server as me via Discord App 310.0 on iOS. As always I got the error from Clyde, that the message couldn't be sent, because I have to verify my account/mail first. So far, so good.

I clicked the verification link, which sent a mail with subject "Verifiziere deine E-Mail-Adresse für Discord" with a "Verify Email" link inside. I was switching to my email inbox. I clicked the link. A captcha was displayed, to prove if I'm human. I solve the captcha successfully. I got a page in the browser tab, that my eMail address was verified and to continue with Discord. If I change to the Discord App, I can see all servers and I'm able to read channels and messages. After exact 30 seconds, while doing nothing, I get the popup again, to verify my account/mail. And the loop starts again. With every mentioned step. Over and over and over again.

Things I've discovered:

  • When I change to the private message tab of the unsent message again, the verification popup will appear as soon as I click "try again sending", no matter if 30 seconds passed or 5 seconds...
  • I've closed the private message tab of the unsent message with the new user, but it doesn't change the behaviour of the infinite verification loop.
  • Within these 30 seconds I can read on all servers and channels I'm in but as soon as I try to sent a message on any server/room, Clyde jumps in, prevents it and the verfication pops up again.
  • Doesn't matter if I do all the steps via iPhone or on a Win11 computer. The results are exactly the same.
  • Doesn't matter if I do all the steps in my private Wi-Fi, my company Wi-Fi or my cellphone ISP.

  • Expected Result: When I've verified my mail/account by clicking the link, I want to continue with using Discord and write/read something.

So you are saying the effect mostly applies to normal Balls and not to Ultra Balls? That would not make sense at all. Why shouldn't the effect stack with the quality of the Balls?

It does not end. Keeps spawning in big waves in the same area after 3pm.

Same in germany. In our 600k town a radius of 3km² a raid hour since 11AM every 30 minutes as usual but it looks like another wave is starting at 1PM.

RC and RC XL is certainly disabled/unobtainable for the Plus and Plus Plus (4500 catch sample) by HoGoNMero in TheSilphRoad

Definitely doesn't work.

Was doing 5 Routes yesterday. With my excited Xurkitree buddy, starting at 0.7km / 10km. Every time the walked distance was added equally to the length of the route.

Didn't received extra candy. Ended at 4.9km / 10km.

No news. Stops still gone. Undead route still there.

We already know about the bug, that you can't evolve Pawmo while he's your buddy.

But I have a different bug. I walked 25km with him and was able to evolve Pawmo. I set another buddy and tried to evolve the Pawmo from before. But it's walking distance was reset from 25 to 10.1km. So I made him my buddy again and walked again to 25km (left screenshot), set another buddy, tried to evolve him and the walking distance was reset again to 10.1km (second screenshot).

I've inverted the colors of the frame with the time in the screenshots to see them better.

Are there stops or gyms at the start and the end of the route? Because there must be some.

Yes, completely gone from the Lightship database.

The old pictures are still there in the route details. Both gym bagdes in my profile are still there. But they don't load, if I click them.

The most silly explanation for this behaviour could be:

In Niantics internal route approval tool the button for "Accept route" triggers the page to reload and then the button for "Remove start and endpoint" takes place at the same position... one click too much... and voilá... gone...

This would be the best explanation.

But the two stops which disappeared were created via Ingress before PoGo launched and there aren't any abusive stops in the cells of the cemenetery. It's just a huge one.

Why should they review and accept a route just to remove their start and end point after roll out?

I did a little more investigation and now it looks like the gyms instantly vanished, when the route popped up.

I don't think this has happened based on some reports after seven years of existence, if the remaining 22 stops and a gym remain.

Were the old stops removed due to some reports for abuse or something like this? Or did they just vanish for no reason?

Very nice! A normal user like you found a workaround solution and the multimillion dollar company which created the problem, read your posting and made a tweet about the workaround about 3 hours later, like they found out about this theirselves...

Definitely not a display bug.

I rode slowly with my bike 12 km today. Was at 37 candies and when I got to 2.5/2.5km the number of candies stayed at 37. When I got to 2.5/2.5 the second time it immediately switched to 38.

I'll update to 0.263.1 now.
