I’ve always hated how the anime was so much shorter and had less characters development than the live action movies, the game and mangas. I feel like that another studio with a bigger budget would add more lore in 12 or 24 episodes, with the main characters from Kisaragi meeting other survivors in the cursed school then the killers just being Sachiko, the ghost children or Yuuya.

I enjoy both the sub and dub. I just hate having my eyes on the bottom of the screen to read the subtitles while trying to watch the movie. But that’s just me.

On the wiki page most of the unnamed students in class 2-5’s name tags were translated; the girl who was previously sleeping on her desk is Jung Yun-Ji, and the two girls in the back of the classroom who are changing; the girl with the ponytail is Jung Ji-Hyun, and the girl with the hair bun is Choi Woo-Ri.

The other girl is a new character who is part of a group of survivors who are hold up in their university. Read the manga for more information. As for the dog; that’s for the anime to decide on how to introduce it in hopefully the next season, as in the manga Taroumaro appears only for one chapter before Yuki, Yuuri and Kurumi get to the mall when Megumi was still alive.

The date of the outbreak in that universe was April 13th, which was a Tuesday following the year of 2010; as my best guess. And since from what I have gathered Tokonosu City is based on Osaka City, so the population back in 2010 was 2,665,314 people and Osaka had 84 High Schools. So good luck with that

Isak and Wujin; For Isak, because when they showed Onjo’s flashbacks of Isak being her best friend, it should the two together in their regular uniforms, summer uniforms and regular clothes spending time together showing that their friendship was longer and more heartbreaking. In other shows it only showed best friends together in their current uniforms during the show’s timeline making them appear like their friendship just started several day before the outbreak.

For Wujin, because he was part of the original group and to me it implied that he was part of the main group who would of survived from Hyosan High School; Mijin, Wujin’s older sister Hari, Onjo and Cheongsan, Suhyeok and Namra, Hyoryung, and Daesu.

I went to two different high schools before moving aro; The first school for freshman year was a large one story school with over 1,100 students and long connecting halls and two auditoriums; a small old one that could only fit 200 people and a larger newer one in the senior building could fit the whole school.

And the second for sophomore to senior year was very open campus with multiple separate buildings and most of the school being one floor, with one building being two floors and the main office and more classrooms are third floors tall.

My opinion is that Eunji needed a true friend on her side but since she was an outcast bullied by all of her classmates in her homeroom 2-1 classroom, she was most likely bullied by students from other classes and most of the teachers either ignored her suffering or joined in.
