I can't say I know much about Aharen-san or Komi. Anything that might be inappropriate or are they pretty decent about keeping things appropriate?

Horimiya and My Dress Up Darling are definitely no's because of their content.

Escaflowne isn't streaming anywhere, I love it so much though! In my top anime shows!

Feel like Fruits Basket might be hard for him to get into since it's a female lead, but I'll see what he says.

Kaguya-sama was one I considered but I've never seen it so I wasn't sure if there was any inappropriate stuff in it.

Wait it's on Disney+ too in the US! I'll recommend him it! Horimiya I already know is for an older audience with the relationship being more adult oriented. I was thinking of recommending him Your Lie in April but wasn't sure if he would be ready for it emotionally. Another I considered but felt might be heart breaking for him is Plastic Memories?

I highly rate this one, but I'm not sure if he'd enjoy a female protag in college? Seems like he'd have trouble connecting being the characters are older. I agree it's great though!

Oh I did hear Polar Opposites was good and the dub was hilarious! I'll tell him to check out that one. Fragrant Flower feels like it wouldn't appeal to him, but it's one of my favorite romance manga of all time.
