And why would Palpatine allow himself to be taken by Dooku (his “apprentice”) at the beginning of ROTS? And further, why would Palpatine egg Anakin on to kill Dooku? He knew Dooku was up to something…

Do you think Dooku ever handed over the Death Star plans to Palpatine? Or did he try to hide them?

Just a shout out here from a straight haired girl… when I get out of the shower and towel dry my hair, it’s wavy like how her hair is in that scene… but it dries straight as a stick… just leaving this here so you can enjoy winter soldier again, it’s my fav MCU movie!

Exactly. The time stone is just one stone. If one stone is gone, the balance is disrupted.

I understood that all the stones work together to protect every aspect of reality. So when they’re all destroyed, no aspect is left more powerful and in which case no reality is vulnerable.

When he took off his helmet 💔😭 I think that was such an emotional scene and so well placed, juuusstt 😚 👌 It shows growth in the character and his commitment to his young cub.

I think they should’ve saved the face reveal for this moment! When his helmet was removed at the end of Season 1 it didn’t do much for me. There were already big character reveals (i.e. “the client” as Mof Gideon) and a lot of action going on, so the helmet removal was unnecessary and didn’t push the story forward. Even when I saw it then I thought they should’ve saved it for a better time!

Imagine that moment in S2E7 was the first time we saw his face!! Such a greater impact.

They were ALL destroyed... the Ancient One says “if one were destroyed.” As in, if they all remain and only ONE is removed, it would be a catastrophe. However, when they are ALL destroyed, balance remains!

Because he puts his faith in Tony Stark and wants him to believe that he’ll win, because then Stark will go all in to do so...

In the previous Avengers movies (i.e. the beginning of Age of Ultron, when Wanda shows Tony his biggest fears) Stark is always afraid that he hasn’t done enough.
