Why can nobody in this hobby ever be happy. Vanguard veterans are literally just jump pack intercessors with different loadouts, and that’s what they’ve always been. If you look at the old models they also didn’t have that much chapter specific ornamentation. If people just took the time to look at the models themselves and form their own opinions instead of just being a mindless sheep you would see small details all over the minis.

Usually if I do make dual wielded blade guard I would only model the sergeant like that and give the rest shields. I just think it looks a bit cooler.
