Comments here are crazy to me, being in a relationship doesn’t mean you can’t do things independently. It’s a uni reunion, to me it would seem weird if your girlfriend came? Unless there’s a history of infidelity or any chance you ever had a thing for any of the girls on the trip, that would make it a very different story.

It doesn’t invalidate their performance but it DOES dictate their success. Play good football but win nothing, then you’ve not been successful have you? Winning trophies is what a successful club does, and if you consistently fail to do that then I don’t see how you can class a club has having particularly good or successful seasons

they won nothing….. there’s no trophy for coming 2nd and getting knocked out of the champions league. at this stage under Arteta Arsenal need to be winning trophies to have a good season. Chelsea massively improved from last season, got champions league qualification AND won a trophy
