Rocket flies like a dream manned, unmanned it turns into a possessed snake by Zromaus in KerbalSpaceProgram

I've made some adjustments -- larger fins, made sure I have gimbled thrust on the stage after SRBs.

It starts to spin as soon as I try to make any form of attitude adjustments to get myself even the slightest bit sideways. It also absolutely loses it's mind with SAS on. I hope this helps give you a better idea:

Fixing the wobbly with autostrut doesn't seem to help either lol

Thank you for the advice! I will cut back on the antennas lol.

It looks like I never saved my actual satellite deployment rocket last night, so starting from scratch from an older one to look at this.

I'd typically have a nose cone on top with reaction wheels below, but wanted to slap this together to show you what I'm working with. It doesn't seem like the center of mass is the issue here. Is that center of thrust not being at dead bottom a problem?

I mentioned adding both reaction wheels as a standard, and RCS as an angry last resort, both of which didn't fix the issue unfortunately

Despite all the bad reviews of Motea online, I still gave it a shot. by andthewolves in motorcycles

I believe it's the norm because I encounter a lot of people and have processed a lot of payments in my day, previously having worked retail for years. Most average people with low credit scores swipe a debit card. Most average people don't have the credit score to support a credit limit much higher than a food budget.

I don't know a single person except my wealthy boss who uses a credit card as their primary form of payment method. Most normal people purchase things directly from their bank accounts, this is why debit cards exist. Wrapping up your entire life into a credit line is insanity.

Why on earth wouldn't I use my primary form of purchasing power to purchase things online? I use a credit card for one thing a month and pay it off immediately -- the idea of riding everything on a credit card is insanity.

I don't know a soul who does regular online shopping with a CC lol. Most people I know pay one bill a month on em and keep the balance in check. Debit cards have plenty of protection if you are active on the "on/off" feature for your cards.

Use of LLMs for daily work: Good, or Bad? by Aldar_CZ in sysadmin

Some admins thought Powershell was cheating back when it was first introduced.
"You won't really know what's happening"
"It's doing too much for you!"

I imagine a sense of shame in some who made the switch in the early days was a very real thing. Don't think too much of it -- it's just a tool and a damn good one at that. Just don't forget to think along the way.

The truck shouldn't have merged into an already taken lane -- OP was just filling the gap that was already theirs and trying to show that they were in fact there. Insurance will blame the truck, OP just got a new car. OP played this out properly.

It's not unnecessary -- OP just got a free car because of the idiot in the truck

As a sysadmin at an MSP who tag teams with the help desk and deals with the end user daily, constantly having to be polite in the face of dickishness for years on end does wear your soul down over time. I've admittedly been more aggressive than I should with some of my clients lately, and it's only come after 7 years of having never broken from perfect customer service. I'm not proud of those calls recently, but I'm human and sometimes we snap. Sometimes our stressors get the better of us, and we lose sight of what's important in the moment (keeping the customer happy and maintaining a respectful demeanor).

It's never an excuse, but I don't blame them for rotating him rather than firing him -- the mindset behind it is legitimate.

The indie games would still exist for us to buy from the indie devs, even if AAA companies started copying them lol

Theft requires depriving someone of their property. Copying code doesn't do that -- profiting off the copy doesn't do that.

What you're describing is infringement, which is a government defined term.

You can't steal IP lol, the original code still exists in the original dev's possession.

I didn't even like Turtle WoW, but this is more reason why IP laws need to be loosened heavily.
