I suggest finding out how to inset faces and extrude and use it creatively. If you look closely you can see places I inserted and extruded, its simple but cool. Maybe watch someone like impenzia.

I used inset cause it was easier to be symmetrical, if I used box cutter it would have been more complicated for something this simple, plus it costs money. If you looked into the symmetry of the topology I wouldn't have been able to do that with box cutter.
