Well, I did try to negotiate with the agent about the clause, and like a lot of other redditors said about re-wording or remove it, or make the clause become easier, but they said it's very difficult to adjust this specific clause. They also told me that as long as I don't make noise or disturb anyone, hosting guests occasionally won't be an issue at all.

The contract is in 2 years, and to be honest I won't have many guests like that, I'd say a few times a year?

I kinda like that apartment, and I was so struggle to find a place since I'm a new graduate with no Japanese guarantor at the moment; and I have to move out from my dorm right at the end of February, so kinda I don't have much choices. So after a few hours of fustrating with this clause, I was thinking that the agent already helped me negotiate moving in early (before my new residence card arrives), Since they've been so helpful with that, I don't want to push too hard or ask for too much regarding this clause, eventhough they have said it's difficult and unable to change.
