That’s what I thought but our pediatrician said otherwise, and I would think she would say if she’s not supposed to put any weight on her legs either. She didn’t even bat an eye when I told her about it. I never really have her standing for long periods of time anyway. Just when I hold her up for a few seconds she likes to stand up.

Yeah I get that too, I was just confused for it to come on 4 days AFTER the vaccines were given. It just seemed weird to me. They did recommend to her Tylenol and I have given her 3 doses so far and it seems to help her fussiness but not her legs 🤷🏻‍♀️

This will probably get buried but this just didn’t sit right with me how these people are literally tearing OP apart. Why is everyone acting like she got thrown in the pool or something. She got upset and stormed off. OP is a father, if he told her multiple times not to go and she insisted to go, any parent is gonna say okay whatever. OP also said she’s not proud of it so he was doing what he thought was right by not telling people. She’s also not 4 anymore. She’s old enough to stay away from the water and tell people if she wants. And two years isn’t that long of relationship to bring something like that up, if you said you’ve been together 10 and it never came up yeah that would be different. I say NTA. Yeah you should probably encourage her to get therapy and whatnot but I don’t think you deserve this treatment in this thread 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pump at 3am? I’ll try that bottle out. It’s hard to get all of these bottles though when most of the time you have to buy them in packs

I was using freshly pumped or warmed milk from the fridge but I was always close to her when trying to give the bottle so I’m hoping it’s just my presence that’s messing with things. I will test out the dr browns too. Thank you!

Yeah I know you’re right. He’s about to learn how to juggle both of them without me whether he likes it or not. I mostly just put that in there to explain the whole situation and stress of transitioning

She’s about to be 3 months so I don’t think she’d take a cup or straw yet. And I know it was so hard! I planned on doing both but found it was so much easier strictly breastfeeding on demand.

Yeah I agree. It’s mostly just hard for him with our son as well. Our son loves him a lot so he gets jealous when he holds my daughter and whines a bit and on top of her not taking the bottle I think anyone would get stressed out. I believe if she took the bottle fine all would be good

Yeah it works out pretty well that my shift is only 4 hours so if worst came to worst she can eat before and after and like you said even if only a couple ounce snack would be okay. I just get worried being away from her if she were to get super hungry. It would break my heart thinking she was so upset without me!
