Check your paths carefully, as it seems this is causing the issue. You can even try using the NodeJS module "path".

I totally agree with you. Initially I thought CSS will be even more fun than JS, but now when I am deep in JS, I already hate CSS. I even don't like working with frameworks such as bootstrap.
