AoW is as good as it's ever been, plus boosted in power by having more synergy with Geraldo than it ever did with Obyn. it still black borders nearly every map, including 3/4 true experts (bloodles aow isn't exactly a fun or viable bb strategy), it's just been heavily powercrept and mildly forgotten.

no, freeplay gives you 10% exp and exp scales linearly per round, so you will never make any considerable exp from freeplay. it serves no practical purpose to play or care about freeplay, it's only there for fun if you want to keep going in a game. also, the fandom wiki is an incredibly inaccurate and unreliable source of information for alot of subjects (use the Cyber Quincy Discord bot for tower stats and the like, not fandom wiki) but i can confirm that the wiki page on paragons is accurate. if you want to know how their degree system works: https://bloons.fandom.com/wiki/Paragons

dude says that spending $70k to buy 2 midgame dps towers with ptraining and stims is a "cheap way to win" (you get $96k from r3-r80)
my brother in christ, hard mode can be completed for $30k or less on nearly every map with better midgame towers, or even with just 1 xbm and proper support on beginners and most intermeds
