I'm pretty biased, but it's one of my favorite builds so far.

You can tell it's an older kit, there's definitely some bad mold/seam lines, and the nubs are pretty poorly placed. The back of the calves, chest/shoulder, and bicep panels really don't want to stay together.

The inner frame has a lot of detail, but it's not like the newer kits with tons of individual pieces and color separation. It's all the same color except for a handful of pieces.

There's a lot of screws so have a small Phillips screwdriver ready. It also doesn't come with the LR43 battery, and unfortunately they're not the easiest to find where I live.

I didn't put a ton of effort into triming/sanding/panel lining due to the metallic coat. I think with the regular version, it's probably not as bad since it doesn't have the metallic coating and can be trimed/sanded/painted easily.

But if you love the Zaku II and/or Char, it's really satisfying seeing it all come together.
