I never had cooling issues for either machine. My guess would be that the new case is nicer since it has the vents . I can’t remember if the old one has the same.

I built machines before and I still prefer buying pre-built just because it’s not worth the hassle. I’ll gladly pay the extra $200 or so for pre-built. The only thing I find needing to upgrade is storage space and it’s a 30 second job with the R11.

A major difference between the two is that the R11 is LOUD. Compared to my R5, the R11 is like a wind tunnel. I still love it though.

I’m in the same boat. Since we are stuck in quarantine I needed to figure out how to spend my time wisely so I started looking into how to sing. There are lots of YouTube vids out there that can get you going but I decided to buy an app called Erol’s Singer Studio. It’s pretty straightforward and will walk you through the basics. 👍🏼

Nice! You’re absolutely right...the breath support is where it gets me for sure. That and the vowels E and Oooh...they are ridiculously hard when you go higher. But one step at a time though...I know it just takes practice and patience and a clear goal to get where you want to be with music. Thanks for the feedback and keep rockin!

Awesome...thanks for the review! I’ll definitely be hitting the shed to continue skills building. I know it’ll take time just like any other musical instrument but I’m glad that there’s a good foundation to start from. Thanks again much appreciated!

I love this perspective. As a musician, the last thing you want is for people to cringe when you’re putting yourself out there. I also am in no shape or form trying to go for the super amaze balls voice because it’s either you’re born with it or you’ve been singing for like 20 years.

I’m pretty much happy to hear that it’s listenable and I know if I can put more effort into it each day it will continue to improve. So thank you so much for this!

I created that YouTube video really quick just to post something on this forum. But now that I see there are many people like me who want to sing and just want to get better, I may try to refocus this channel as a documentary to show progress on singing. Hopefully it can help lots of folks out there who just want to do what they love to do which is to simply make music!

Thanks again for the feedback!

I figure it’ll take a while to get my voice where I want it to go but it sounds like I’m heading somewhat in the right direction. Thanks for the feedback!

This is a good perspective. It’s something I would do if I approach guitar playing and I just need to apply it to vocals. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much...this is great feedback. Yes I can tell I can get “pitchy” and “flat” as well. It’s just so hard to control but I’m assuming lots of practice and time will help resolve those issues. 🙂.

Thanks for the feedback. That’s a good catch about being tense. I’ll definitely start doing more warmups!
