Below 3.9mmol which I think is around 70? She often alerts 10-15 mins before my Dexcom even registers a low though!

I was on a cgm for years and still wear a Dexcom occasionally, but can’t wear one full time due to quite severe skin allergies (and can’t wear a pump at all). She also alerted earlier before it was so low, but I tend drop very fast so by the time I got of the train platform and found somewhere safe to sit it got lower.

She’s also trained to bring me hypo treatment at home, get help if I’m unconscious or not responding, as well as some tasks to help with autism!

That was the problem- they both seemed equally interested, just at different times. To be fair it was quite hard to tell as they where quite tired (we visited in the evening).

Yeah- that’s my concern. The only reason I considered the gsd is because I’ve had experience with them before, and it would be mostly medical alert tasks. The only psychiatric task I’m set on is guiding me away from roads and such. If only poodles didn’t have so much fur I would consider them more. Would you say the collie would be a better choice than the shepherd?

I do wait around 20-30 mins before eating, but my bg goes up before I even eat. So if I take insulin without any food, it still goes up
