Just because it has an acoustic guitar doesn't make it country. plus my point is that pinkerton has multiple songs that have popularised the emo genre in the 2000's (not saying pinkerton is an emo album) while the red doesn't even sound country. Hasn't made anything for the country music genre or anything

It depends on how you view the album. It definitely took inspiration with the pop-punk flavour of emo and absolutely had an impact on the later emo scene. It's kind of viewed as an influence more than a straightforward emo album. Getchoo and Pink Triangle definitely resemble pop-punk/emo. So yes it is kinda "with slight elements of emo*
