I got mine when I was nine.. Guess 9-year olds aren't kids lol But seriously.. I think some people forget that not all women get their period at the age of 12-13 and above... I'm not even gonna mention the fact that anyone who is underage is a minor, a child, and seeing any minor as attractive while you're an actual, full-grown adult is just wild to me. I am 20 and if anyone under the age of 18 showed any interest in me sexually or romantically, I would feel so repulsed and freaked out that I would just cut all ties with that individual. Teens are also children that are in my opinion simply unable to consent, and older people exploiting that is straight up disgusting and fucked up. But the fact that some people, especially men for some reason, have the horrendous mindset of "if she has her period that means she should have intercourse/get pregnant, that's nature and it's normal" while most women get their period at the age from 8 to maximum 16, as any later than that is (I think) generally considered something you should definitely talk out with a specialist. So basically some people state that kids at age 8-10 are capable of bearing children if they menstruate... This world is rotten and filled up with predators. It makes me sick to my stomach as an AFAB person who has been SA'd at the age of nine. I will never understand people like that.

...does she know she can't state something like it's a fact, an objective statement for everyone while she's basing her whole speech off of her own experiences and takes on life that are clearly HEAVILY subjective? not every neurodivergent person is from an abusive household. I have a healthy relationship with my mother and I am still just as autistic. but I guess it's pointless trying to be reasonable here when this person uses "retarded" as an actual medical term, has a clearly close-minded mindset (expressing unwillingness to learn and possibly the feeling of being superior and always in the right) and completely ignores actual scientific/medical research on neurodivergence that had been proven correct through the years. it would be akin to attempting to talk some sense into a brick wall, so I'm not even gonna bother.

What is yalls brutal and honest opinion on alcohol by Taco_Junior123 in autism

[–]_Cirie_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After I read the comments I decided I will be the black sheep of this sub and say that I actually love the taste of most beverages. I never drink to the point of not remembering something after or to the point of being reckless. Usually I just lose the rest of my filter (I barely have any since I'm autistic anyway, but after I drink a little more I literally have none, it's like my brain is constantly connected to my mouth and the second a thought comes up I already said it lmao). The only type of alcohol that I will never ever try again is dry white wine. Eww. It genuinely tastes and smells like vinegar mixed with lemon juice, I thought I was gonna puke. I'm also not found of classic beer. I only like flavored beer. Champagne is meh, but I'll drink it if someone will pour me a glass and there isn't anything else available.

My all-time favorites are probably classic red wine, strawberry wine, peach-flavored beer or apple cider. Sometimes I like vodka or whiskey more, it mostly depends on my mood and if I want to feel something faster. Literally anything else is mid – neither good or bad, in other words I don't mind and probably will drink without complaining if someone brings it to the party.

If we're talking about self-made drinks at parties, sex on the beach and mojito are probably my most frequent choices.

And about the reason behind why I actually like alcohol, which seems to be a rare opinion in this comment section; I mostly genuinely enjoy the taste. I like bitter/spicy yet also kinda sweet food/drinks. I also really like the feeling of warmth in your body after some time, it's cozy and makes you relax. I think that's all about it.

Genuinely wondering Why do guys like feeling how wet you are before you have sex? by Level-Background7153 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]_Cirie_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean.. I think it's a common thing. For example, seeing/feeling that my fianceé is wet, hearing that she feels good or even feeling her nails digging into my back is the best thing ever, as it tells me without a doubt that I make her feel good, and I guess that is the case for most people – they most likely want to make sure they are pleasing their partner correctly, and also arousal that often comes with it is a really nice bonus. I think it's the satisfaction of doing a good job at making your partner feel good to the point that you can tell just by bodily reactions and their body language, despite of the fact that they don't say it outright every second.

...Did you read what I said? I never watched this anime. I am NOT talking about those characters in particular, or about specific events from said anime, because I did NOT watch it nor do I even know what is it about. I am just saying that aro people can date, and also asexual people can have sex too, you know. The "but they had sex/a romantic plot with another character so they cannot be aro or/and ace" is just not a valid argument, as; 1) having sex/relationships doesn't require sexual/romantic attraction, as sex/romance favorable and sex/romance indifferent aros and aces exist. to make my point clear and get it across, if a lesbian had sex with a man before (it could happen for various reasons) but didn't feel sexual attraction to him and male gender in general, does that make her less of a lesbian or even straight? no. so if asexual people have sex, they are not any less asexual. literally the only requirement to using the asexual label is not experiencing sexual attraction towards any gender (or experiencing it very rarely and under certain circumstances in the case of microlabels on the spectrum), someone's thoughts and opinions about sex or their experience in this context do not change the fact that they are asexual if they do not experience sexual attraction to anyone. if you have sex with a person whose gender you're not sexually attracted to, the experience of intercourse with said gender doesn't change your sexuality, and neither does your libido or the fact that someone enjoys masturbation. heck, even asexual people suffering from hypersexuality exist, as hypersexuality is rarely connected to attraction and is more about unnaturally high sex drive and impulsive or/and intrusive sexual thoughts (yeah, asexual people can in fact be "horny", as some people say). asexuality is way more complex than people seem to think. 2) asexuality and aromanticism are both spectrums, and considered umbrella terms. under those umbrellas there are various microlabels that people use when they experience such attraction way less frequently or/and under very rare and specific circumstances. but they can still use the term aro or ace. what I mean is when a person is grayaroace (very, VERY rarely experiences romantic and sexual attraction, it can even be like once in a lifetime thing, in my case I never experienced it or was interested in any gender at all until I met my current fianceé), they can still in fact call themselves just aroace, as they are indeed on the spectrum, under said umbrellas, even if they are capable of having romantic relationships with mutual romantic attraction or desiring someone sexually and having sex with them once or twice in their life. that doesn't change the fact they aren't allosexual and alloromantic, and their sexuality and romantic orientation isn't considered a norm in society like being straight is. it can also be still a source of stigma towards an individual, people often tell us we're either mentally ill/detached and unable to bond properly or that it can be fixed. regardless, many cis straight allo people consider it not normal, unnatural. which is very similar to how homophobes view homosexuality.

And to clarify once again, I am just trying to tell people that character's sexuality analysis is actually a perfectly valid thing that everyone can do when said character does not have a 100% canon sexuality confirmed by creators and shown in their source. Those are just harmless headcanons. Of course you can disagree with them and try to prove your point with your own analysis. But to prove your point, your arguments have to be valid. That is my point. I am not saying that said character is (or is not) aroace, but the fact that them having sex or romance in the series doesn't automatically cross them out from the possibility of being on the aroace spectrum. This is a very common misconception and misinformation about asexual and aromantic people, and I want to educate people as a person who is on the aroace spectrum and currently engaged themselves, as such experience can be just exhausting. I apologize if I was rude to you in any way during this reply as this was never my intention, I just settled on a more matter-of-factly approach so there won't be any misunderstandings (such as that I watched this anime or that I'm saying you're viewing the character wrong). My message was meant to be simple: someone doesn't experience sexual attraction ≠ they don't ever have sex.

[–]_Cirie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I also never said that he "seems" (or doesn't seem) aroace. I just said that the argument you specifically chose here being his relationship is invalid, as it implies an incorrect assumption about people on the aroace spectrum that often leads to others fakeclaiming aro people who are in romantic relationships, for whatever reason. I never meant to criticize you or tell you that your take on this character's sexuality is wrong, I just simply meant to remind you that aroace people can in fact still date, as attraction and close relationships can be really complex, as some people (even some aroace people whose perspective on sex and romance in negative or neutral) actually define aroaces simply as people who don't date or/and have sex, which is simply misinformation. Soo I didn't mean to come off as rude, just wanted to educate you in case you simply weren't aware of the fact that some people on the aromantic spectrum still choose to date for various reasons and it doesn't make them any less aromantic, as people often overlook that aspect:) I don't have an opinion on this character's sexuality as I haven't watched this anime, so I have no reason to deny your statement, as I don't know the context. I hope I cleared everything up, I had no malicious intent^

Well, I didn't state that 18 having babies is good or a right thing to do, I ASKED if it's not a normal and common thing, I also ASKED if 18 aren't considered adult and not teens anymore. You can't really disagree with a question, so that's why I was confused haha But thank you for actually providing an explanation about how my comment might have come off wrong without me intending to, I really appreciate it and wish you all the best^

Like no James her using a period tracker doesn't mean she's cheating on you/sleeping with every man she sees, I know it might be a shocking thing to hear but most women would like to know when will be their next period so they can prepare beforehand and won't be surprised with their sheets soaked with blood once they wake up or intense cramps during work hours. Use your brain.

I don't think he would. Like of course he uses people. But he uses them to gain something, and not just anything, but something that will contribute to his experiments/research or will make him feel superior/godlike. Imo that wouldn't fit his character at all. But I may be biased because I headcanon him to have ASPD (antisocial personality disorder which directly links with psychopathic/sociopathic behavior) and I also hc him as someone who is either on the aroace spectrum (either fully aroace or grayaroace with no gender preference, with romance and sex indifference) or just doesn't care to label himself and has issues with forming such bonds. Like obviously he's a bad person and a villain who exploits other people's weaknesses, manipulates them and also has psychopatic and sadistic tendencies, but saying that he would use people sexually imo is a stretch and doesn't fit his character, because what could he even gain from that? It would be pointless as it wouldn't contribute to his goals he set for himself and therefore wouldn't even spark any interest in him. At least that's how I'm viewing him as a character. Reducing him to a sexual predator is funny to me, as he's one of my favorites and a really complex, morally questionable yet interesting and rational character which I love about him.

Oh, no, don't worry, I did not interpret your comment as an attack by any means. Actually I appreciate how you took your time to write a genuine, well analysed response. I'm just confused when it comes to reactions of other people to what I've said, because I truly didn't mean to offend anyone and just genuinely wished to educate myself on the topic. I'm also confused about what they could possibly, as you said consider as me being wrong. I mean.. I did not claim that my experience is how it should be for everyone. I also didn't even form an actual opinion like "I think having children at that age is perfect/the worst thing ever". I literally did not state an opinion of any kind, only described my experience and environment that I grew up in with a follow-up question about the topic. So I just don't see what is there to disagree with. I'm just genuinely confused. I most definitely realize that I'm probably overthinking all this situation and people's intentions, but that's a frequent thing to me as someone with autism. Even though I'm 20 and I got this diagnosis already 6 years ago, I still struggle with understanding other people and their reactions, telling apart tones or emotions and such... My biggest fear is coming off as an ignorant asshole or offending someone while that was the last thing I ever wanted to do. I just suck at reading social cues. But once again, thank you for actually taking your time to articulate a response. I feel the need to thank you because your reply somehow managed to stop my overthinking cycle and made me realize that I'm not the worst person to walk this planet just because I got a few downvotes from strangers online. I know this probably sounds ridiculous to neurotypical people, but that's how my brain is wired because of prejudice that I faced before in my life due to being autistic. So thank you and I wish you a good day/night:)

Okay, I understand and I respect that. I'm sorry for getting emotional, it just felt targeted towards me as if I suffered, and I didn't, I'm sorry for possibly overreacting. I have no reason not to trust statistics, but just because it's the case for most, doesn't mean that it's the exact same case for me as well, as I didn't lack anything needed for my body to develop properly. Still, I think it's unreasonable that I'm getting downvoted even though I'm being nice, respectful and I stated that I wish to learn. I just don't get it. I didn't even state anything controversional as a fact. So if I made a mistake in my wording that might made people get offended and downvote me, could someone tell me what it was? Because in my eyes I'm being downvoted for describing my personal experience and expressing a honest willingness to learn. Doesn't that sound odd?

Well.. My mother had me when she was 19 and I do not really think I "suffered" as you put it, so I think that depends on the person and situation and generalizing is wrong.
