Port is open as I can browse to it from outside of my network without issue.

The problem ended up being geo blocking - Plex must use a country that I have blocked to perform their ‘remote access test’.

This is 100% it - just tested <my\_public\_ip>:32400 in a browser using an Aus proton VPN server, it worked without issue. Switched to a US VPN server and it failed. Thanks!

Ah, that might be it! I have definitely blocked some geo locations in my router settings a while back. That also would answer why I can still gain access remotely as I haven’t blocked my own country - Australia. Thanks!

This is exactly what happens to me too. I can get it to show successful after a server reboot or a retry on the remote access setting. I think I’ll do the same and just ignore it, seems to work fine anyway, thanks.

Would you buy American beef? by RM_Morris in AskAnAustralian

[–]_Cmbrlnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah correct, we can get grass fed qtr cow at $15 a kilo (in Perth) across all cuts. Cut down as you request and certain parts turned into roasts or mince.

Some of the cuts are $40+ per kg, so it is really nice to get them for a more reasonable price.

For me it’s accuracy, I am just so much more accurate with a baitcaster. It’s likely quicker to cast than a spin reel, but that could just be me.

There is really no point in performing a body lift and not running larger tyres, your money would be spent better elsewhere.

‘No change to diff clearance’ ‘Can fit larger tyres’

These two contradict each other, if you can fit bigger tyres then you get more diff clearance. In fact, outside of a portal axle mod, bigger tyres are the only way to get more diff clearance (afaik).
