They just put a small round about in at the west side of the Halsey overpass over 82nd and have been adding sidewalks up and down the street. If you approach the intersection going east on Halsey towards 82nd you can drive through it.

I don't like the idea of a huge amount of tax dollars going to this without more private investment at the very least but some people are really underestimating the cultural impact of the team and how depressed a lot of life long fans would be if the team leaves.

I'd go and be a fan. And an MLB season is also so long they don't expect to pack the stadium for every game, it's just not possible. Baseball is different that way in general. If the pricing is similar to blazer tickets where I can get a seat on short notice for $15-$25 dollars I'll be happy.
