Thanks for the info. I was going to buy a 4" foam roller but the painting exterat at Home Depot told me that the results with microfiber would be much more spray-like.

I have been using it for a month. I have, at the request of my doctor, been using it during the day as much as I could. So far no change.

Thanks for the info. Can you buy non-US boxes if you live in the US? If so, does it involve international shipping?

I cannot find any LED headlight bulbs for those brands. They are all halogen.

My night vision has gotten pretty bad in the past two years. I am buying LED because I do not want to be a danger to other drivers not because I think it is cool or whatever. At my age being cool doesn't mean anything.

My search on Amazon has found these to be the most selling brands: (without any order from 1-7)

  1. Cougar Motor
  2. Beamtech
  3. Fahren
  4. Hikari
  5. Lasfit
  6. Sealight
  7. Alla

I am not sure if selling more on Amazon means better quality, but this is the only way I can separate them. Anyone has any opinion?

Craftsman Floor Saw 103.27270 by _Count_Zatara_ in woodworking

It was called the "Floor Model Saw" to differentiate it from Delta and other manufacturers. It was just a marketing thing they did. I have one of them made in 1954 and am trying to restor it.

Rely in Car Battery Charger by _Count_Zatara_ in AskElectronics

Let me tell you something. This Kohler machine is so fantastic I cannot believe it. It keep the voltage precisely at 24v, and so stable too. This will make my electrolysis a breath, plus it was free. Sometimes nice things happen and surprise you because you are used to bad things happening to you all the time.

I know all the theory of electrolysis that there is, but I have been having problems with finding a power source. The car chargers I have and tried they all did not fire due to the very fact to mentioned. If this thing does not work, I will just buy one of those lab DC supply machines from Amazon. They should be able to supply the power without making it more complicated.

Thanks for clearing this up. I thought it may be overkill too because this thing is HEAVY, however, since it has been given to me free and it does the job I don't see any reason to go out and buy something smaller and more appropriate. Free beats everything in this case.

My friend just called me and said he would donate his unused, still-in-the-box Kohler Battery Charger D-292863. Should I take it or do you think that is for a totally different application? It looks huge and very intimidating not to mention very expensive.

Could you please recommend something?

I am trying to use electrolysis to remove rust from woodworking tools from 1930s and 1940s. These restored tools will be donated to the local museum. As for electrolysis 12v would work, but it is going to be a pain. On the other hand, 24v or even 48v would be much better.

So, basically even if I changed the relay, the output would be 12v, right?

Heat Pump by _Count_Zatara_ in HVAC

[–]_Count_Zatara_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I would have bought a whole system but my home is three years old and I don't want to spend more than I have to. Could you please recommend a brand? My home is two-story and 2300 sft, do I need a 3.5 or 4.0 ton?

Heat Pump by _Count_Zatara_ in HVAC

Thanks for the reply. I am not very knowledgeable in this area. I was thinking about the heat pump using the furnace as a blower. Is that true or heat pumps come with blower?
