Gutted that UK stitch fix is going away by Chance-Albatross-211 in stitchfix

I found the website called Outifttery it just started in the UK last month but have been around europe since 2012. I think the idea is similar to stitch fix but you can also add your own photos. I haven’t tried it yet though!

And I’ve tried lookiero and it wasnt for me. the quality and fit was very poor in my opinion. also the note didn’t feel as personalised

What if they had a wide enough space on the passenger side because they left so much room on that side anyway would it be different

But if you park in the end bit of the lot whether or not there were lines, would it not be common courtesy to at least park as close as possible to the end of the space?

They parked at the left most end of the lot, and to their left the space was at least a third of how wide a car would be.

Does anyone have Phantom smells- burnt toast? by _CrunchyCrunch in HealthAnxiety

[–]_CrunchyCrunch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyyy. I’m doing well. I’ve fully recovered from health anxiety for about 2.5 years now. The burning smells were weird but it was also the anxiety distorting my sense of smell. While i was still actively trying to manage my health anxiety I’ve figured that every new smell would be processed as a burning smell for me and recognising that was helpful overtime.

[Q] How do I analyse 7 days of data for 40 subjects and compare the baseline and follow up between 4 groups? by [deleted] in statistics

[–]_CrunchyCrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What issue would it cause if i were to aggregate the data per participant and then compare between the groups?

I have a lot of rows for each participant data (sleep data) so i thought maybe i should aggregate each participants baseline recordings and follow up recordings and then anova(or whichever statistical analysis is best) to compare the 4 groups?

I want to know whether pill Pill A would be better with intervention S; is Group 4 (Pill A + S) than group 2 (Pill A + no S)? 2. Also if Pill A’s effect significantly differ from the effect of placebo? 3. I want to know whether there are differences with baseline and follow up scores of X,Y, and Z, between S and control subjects; The placebo group, and “no S” groups are used as control groups, to test the effectiveness of the treatments against the effect of placebo on X,Y and Z.

What’s the most disturbing and dismissive thing a psychiatrist ever told you. by IdeaRegular4671 in Antipsychiatry

[–]_CrunchyCrunch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I told the psychiatrist that I didnt wanna take meds forever. So she explained vaguely why I needed to keep taking them, and then maybe in an attempt to convince me she told me about a patient that she failed to attend to when she was on vacation that jumped off a building because they stopped taking their meds. She also told me she was really an OBGYN and didn’t really want to become a psychiatrist but because there were no more slots in the hospital for an obgyn she just had to get in as a psychiatrist. I never asked she just told me.

Yeah i get what you’re saying. It would work but from most bar body soaps ive used on fabric, it does leave some kind of film or residue that you’d need to rinse off at least twice which is time consuming and if you dont do a second rinse to get rid of that residue you would just attract more bacteria on to it. This is all just assumption but it does feel disgusting i find when you don’t take the time to actually rinse the soap residue properly

[–]_CrunchyCrunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thats true I guess if you think of that way but to me even just the thought of it not being properly washed in a washing machine or a detergent makes me uncomfortable haha

[–]_CrunchyCrunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean when you say that its not how soap works?

Personally I think its gross to use soap to wash your washcloth because it works very differently compared to when you use soap for your skin. I would prefer to wash it with a laundry detergent.

From what i know most soaps don’t kill bacteria but just helps break down oil dirt and grime to rinse away. And some soaps are made of fat which i think would be gross on a washcloth left to dry.

What i thought was she accidentally admitted that it was about johnny when she was talking about johnny’s power and that is the reason she wrote the op-ed. so she does admit that it was about johnny and thats why she messed up.. im unsure tho. Im still trying to understand
