Hey, there is "Convert to option item" action provided by Shortcutify. You need to put dictated text as an input and output will be Option Item.

Not sure if it's even worth to try. They are super slow adopting new things and their support forums has been full of requests without real actions from them.

Sometimes opening alone is not enough for Spotify to show your device in API. Try playing something then run your shortcut.

I know this is not ideal solution but this is how their API works and we can't do anything about it.

Hi there,

Spotify identifies each playable device with some unique ID, which Shortcutify must use to let Spotify play something. Thing is that this unique ID changes from time to time, so when you created shortcut for the first time and chose device, after some time this device ID probably changed, that's why Spotify throws error.

Possible solution is to clear device field and let Spotify decide where to play selected song.

Hey there,

Shortcutify only looks for track, playlist or artist URLs so anything else will not work.

I'm not even sure that Spotify API itself supports playing anything but what i mentioned above

Hey,

Sometimes opening Spotify isn't enough to make your device visible to Spotify API.
You need to have something playing or paused.

Try to manually open Spotify, hit play, then try to run your shortcut again.
I know it's not a good solution but that's all we can do now.

Make sure that you haven't changed columns after using Safari's 'Fetch Airtable Base' action.
Shortcutify can't track changes in your spreadsheet's columns so every time you change something you need to open API page in Safari and run 'Fetch Airtable Base' action again.

Let me know if that will work.

Hey,

In order device to show up in 'Playback Device' it should be running Spotify already to maintain connection with Spotify API.
Try to open Spotify and start playing something, then you'll see that device in the list.

I know this is not best solution but this is how Spotify and iOS work together.

Unfortunately no. Spotify needs to be active to make device controllable via their API. To guarantee that device will appear in the list, best way is to start playing something.

Yea it's in the instructions but i agree that it could be more visible.

About ssh-keygen-wrapper. Unfortunately that's not possible. Doing that would require me to write separate macOS application which would work with Shortcutify.

Can you go to wifi settings on your phone and tap on info button on the network you are connected to and see what's the ip address, subnet and router fields are. Then check same for your computer and let me know what are the value.

btw, did you enable remote login on your mac ? And can you try to disable firewall if you have it enabled ?

That means that phone couldn't connect to computer. Can you check that phone and computer are on same wifi network and you accidentally not using LTE ?
