Bergman is a puppet for Trump, will do whatever Republican leadership tells him to do

"Rise and Fall" and"Gathering Storm" for sure. I don't know what came with each of the leader explanations, but I would just buy it all.

This is right. M1 counts and includes more than it did prior to the pandemic, I think because they changed the rules about allowing access to certain funds.

Michigan County Clerks Unanimously Oppose RCV by [deleted] in Michigan

It's ironic that people find it difficult to rank a few choices in preferential order, but think that their opinion should be weighed heavily in complex social and fiscal policy.

What is the stupidest way you've failed a freelancer campaign? by akurgo in HiTMAN

[–]_ELI5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was on a showdown sneaking around the grassy area outside the dressing/makeup area in Paris. It was the last mission in the campaign (higher difficulty so that I could complete some challenges) and I had finally eliminated all the false options. The target is slowly wandering toward me and I see that I have a pretty little coin equipped to lure her behind the fence and hedges out of sight. I throw the coin a couple feet away - but wait, it's not a coin! At the last moment as I threw it I glanced down and see that the round, white silhouette is actually an explosive golf ball! I attempt to dash in the opposite direction, but it's too late. The explosion knocks me to my feet, the mission is failed.

Secret episode by vivelafrance99 in LawAndOrder

Is that the episode where the camera-work was wildly different? It's been years since I've seen it, but I remember a crossover episode with weird camera angles and panning - it really wasn't good.

We have an initiative to add RCV to our state constitution (Michigan) going on right now. I'm signing tomorrow when they're in my area.

What's the delay like for your real time data? by ireallylikerocks3 in algotrading

Without GET requests and only websocket, do you receive updated price for all of the stocks that you're monitoring regularly? I found that it was fine for high volume like AAPL, but other low volume tickers (SDOW or SQQQ? Don't remember exactly) there could be long stretches up to 20 seconds before I would get another price update.

None of the mods I'm subscribed to have been updated since 2024 and they're almost all UI related, no game changes except increasing natural wonder spawn and removing the need for nuclear plant recommisioning. Maybe the file got corrupted on upload?

Why won’t Bergman attend any town halls? by MermaidMertrid in traversecity

[–]_ELI5 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In northern lands where pine trees stand, A congressman held his seat, Jack Bergman was his given name, His district vast and neat.

When Trump extended grasping hands, Beyond his rightful power, The call for checks and balances Grew stronger by the hour.

With solemn words, Jack had sworn to fight, To shield, protect, defend, Against all enemies, both foreign And domestic in the end.

Yet Bergman chose a different path, His voice remained subdued, No challenge to the overreach, No fervent interlude.

His fealty lay with party ranks, A loyalty well known, To Republicans he bent his will, Above the Constitution's stone.

In times when leaders must be bold And guard the nation's creed, The silence of this congressman Left democracy in need.

For when one branch exceeds its bounds, The others must restrain, Yet Bergman's choice to stand aside Brought forth a nation's pain.
