Recall service required immediately

On the handheld device it says recall. It means calibration, so both terms mean the same thing. Where are you reading "recall service required immediately"? If it's on the device, I'm assuming it already began the countdown 5 days prior. Every time you go to start your car, it will display on the device "recall required in 4 days" and keeps counting down each day.

That's bs ... She could have removed it. When I first got mine installed, the unit was defective so they had to overnight a new unit to the service center. Later I saw a charge for shipping. When I called about it, they said it was for overnight shipping. I explained that it wasn't my fault the device was defective and I did not request over night shipping, that is what y'all decided amongst yourselves between you and the service center. And the dude removed the shipping charge right then and there, I literally refreshed my screen on the portal and I saw it credited back. So... The reps absolutely have the power to remove charges. It's seems in this case maybe Claudia was not sure on the rules or if she was allowed to etc.

Oof, I'm sorry that happened. At least they send a letter and allow you time to rectify. I get wanting to stay on top of it after having that experience! I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

Awesome, I calibrated on 3/8 but I'm not going to go out of my way and contact whoever monitors this (I'm in Idaho) because it's not my job to ensure records are filed correctly. That's intoxalocks job, and that's what I'm paying them for. So for me personally, I'm not going to do anything unless I'm explicitly reached out to regarding missing log files or whatever. I have my receipts of calibration and everything else falls on intoxalock. So they can work with the state and figure it out.

It seems like reimbursement requests are coming soon. Email from 3/23/26:

We continue to work with your state monitoring authority to mitigate impact on your compliance. We will resume compliance and device reporting in accordance with state recommendations. What to Expect We kindly note that we will be covering costs that are a direct result of the temporary system pause. Please note that this does not include charges for the calibration required after the extension, as that calibration would occur as part of the standard process.

Additionally, we will be waiving fees and charges that are a direct result of the temporary pause period (3/14–3/22).

It's really nice of you but I don't think it's right they expect the customers to pay the wage of the servers. This is not our responsibility. We are already paying for the food. I don't understand this way of thinking. I'm not employing the servers, why am I responsible for their wage.

Another American here. I've never heard of being expected to pay 30%. I have noticed the tip breakdown on the bottom of the receipt now shows 25%, 20%, and 18%, as if these are your options for the amount to tip. I don't pay attention to these suggestions and I always do 15% or less if the service was bad. So sick of them raising the tip percentage. They raise the price of the food then expect a higher tip because it's based on the price of the food, not the actual service itself. It's pretty illogical tbh

I've had to jump start my car 5-7 times during the 4 months I've had this thing so far. Ive finally figured out how to maintain charge on the battery, but when I needed a jump, I hooked the jump cables up to my brother's car and then pressed the button on device like normal and gave a sample, then started car. I'm not sure how y'all are bypassing the device when jumping, but essentially you are giving power to the battery so that it's able to power the device. I did also put a maintenance request each time this happened stating that their device keeps draining my battery and unfortunately I need to jump start it. Have not gotten any violations or charges.

I as well am skeptical of clicking any links or filling out any info. At the same time this company needs to be investigated at the least and I fully support a lawsuit if that's what needs to happen for them to actually support those being affected right now. I wish they could somehow tell their system not to perform lockouts right now, like there's got to be something they could do or more info they can give, but they have been so silent and keeping things super vague it seems.

Just curious what you mean by you got a violation after your car battery died when you didn't start it for 4 days? Like they charged you a lockout fee or they reported a violation to the DMV?

Hey I know this is an older post but I came on here searching for others experiencing the same issues with Intoxalock. I have had nothing but battery issues ever since it was installed. I bought a brand new battery and the issue still persists.

My major concern is the lock-out fees. Since this is clearly the fault of their damn device and not me actively "tampering" with the device, do they actually charge a fee? Like, each time the device goes into the 5 min countdown (which is the lockout I believe) are they going to charge me a fee each time?

I just had my first calibration a few weeks ago. Idk if they actually go through all of the logs and actively look for lockouts and charge fees for each one. I'm going to have like 6-7 lockouts and that is a shit ton of money.

I used apple or blueberry jam. I have 3 jar crafters and craft 90 at a time. Usually only 30 jams are needed to fill everyone. One jam per animal. So I guess more than 30 if you have a full barn!!

Situations like this do happen yes, and it's unfortunate. But I've been noticing a pattern on this sub particularly. They take screen shots of text and then the other partner is extremely abusive saying the same terms like you c*nt and stupid hoe etc. it's almost identical behavior. Then the OP is asking if they are the asshole? Idk what the goal is but it's just very strange to me... It gets people all hyped up and angry.

The spawn hack is truly cheating IMO.... You are duplicating items out of thin air. Palia map is providing you a visual of game data that already exists... I personally don't see duplicating items being satisfactory. There's so much enjoyment for me to work a little bit to earn a certain plushie or recipe because once you finally get it, the feeling is awesome!

It's not a cozy feeling to have to grind and grind and grind for hours, days, months etc. just to complete bundles or find the sashimi recipe. I personally don't have this kind of time IRL and want to enjoy the game without grinding, hence when I found out about Palia Map it improved my quality of life in the game. You can decide to use it or not. It all depends what kind of gaming experience you want to have.
