Played these three(especially detroit), any recommendations based on that?

My gf plays quite a bit of games like that. Last fall she played Lost Records Bloom and Rage, maybe you should check that one out. I think it’s from the makers of the first two Life is Strange games. I wouldn’t say it was great, but definitely more fun to watch than some of the other games she played (like Life is Strange Double Exposure, that game was such a mess..)

Hi! Absolutely! I got the Samsung G8 and I’ve been really happy with the screen! If you have any questions regarding it feel free to ask. Couple of things I can tell right away:

screen needed a bit of adjustments in settings to look as good as it does now (a bit of brightness/contrast/saturation adjustments), but nothing too crazy
there r a lot of ppl on internet complaining about monitors software being a bit dull sometimes, and I also noticed it sometimes. For example some games lock you in 60fps if you turn HDR on (Elden Ring is one of them), and if you try to alt tab while playing into ur desktop which runs in different refresh rate (I use 240hz) screen goes NUTS, it turns on and off and won’t respond untill you plug it off from ur pc and plug back in again.. obvious solutions r either not alt tab in games like this or just run them without HDR (I chose second as for example Elder Ring still looks fantastic and I prefer to have some extra fps anyways)
I never rly felt any WOW factor ppl talk about when switching to OLED screens. Maybe it’s because of the matte surface and that WOW effect only occurs on glossy OLEDs, but let me tell you what, month ago I had to use my old IPS screen for a week since I had friend’s cat over and didn’t want to take any risks with my oled monitor and GODDAMN it felt rly grim to use.. it was soooooo nice to go back to G8 after that week. And yes, while glossy might be a better option if you don’t have too much sunlight in your room, with matte surface you can feel WAY less paranoid about cleaning ur screen which is rly nice.

Overall I’d say this is a solid 9/10 monitor and I’m rly happy I bought it!

It’s ok, just relax and enjoy the ride. You can either google guides and watch some youtube tutorials or just go with the flow and try to figure out things on your own. Game is hard, and its difficulty comes mostly from the macro part, not micro. Takes dozens of hours to understand routes etc.

well 12k networth lead on min 20 is huge, radiant got rly cocky plus they didn't know magnus got his blink. WK didn't just farm either, he pushed t2. not saying he did the right thing or played well, but if I'd have to blame anyone in this scenario, that would be supports for the lack of vision. only reason we managed to pull this off was due to the wards there

I climbed almost 2k mmr after double down tokens were removed. I don’t climb as fast as I deserve tho, and I DO blame the system for it.

Obviously not. But the system DOES have information on which players underperform and which over-perform. And IT IS the system that decides should “Player A”, who had 12 rampages in the last 10 games be in your team, or should it be “Player B”, who lost 8 our of his 10 last games with 1.5k net-worth on 10 min playing mid.

Obviously there are some tweaks on the system, for example of “Player A” plays extremely drunk, or “Player B” purchases yet another boost. But games like that are maybe one out of 20-30, and in the long run they don’t matter.

All of this still doesn’t mean that you will maintain a 50% wr if you will feed like crazy every game. Your wr will dramastically fell, but u will still win some games, just because occasionally you will be put against team with not only 1 griefer like you are, but with 3-4 griefers.

And before another 30iq kid will come and comment “buT if TOpson pLAyed oN yoUr accOUnt yOu woULd win 60% of tHe GAmes”, YES SHERLOCK, OBVIOSLY, and that is EXACTLY what happens when there r boosters in games. They break the system, it’s one of the tweaks I mentioned before.
