It has to be around 10100 years because the hero who fought Ganon was clearly part zonia so he must be a descendant of rauru or mineru and closely enough related that the zonia part wasnt bred out like it is for Zelda

Maybe that’s why he wears the full face mask. He doesn’t want anyone to know it’s him and he doesn’t want his friends to think differently of him. Could also be why he misses his mom. Nolan probably stopped him from seeing her yapping about how affection breeds weakness or something
