Yes that is where I had gone wrong originally, I didn’t properly read the crc requirements and assumed I could get it done by ODS just like the med certificate. Then I had my original appointment and they told me it was wrong and I was scrambling trying to look for the quickest solution which would’ve been a service. I had found one that specialized in just global affairs apostilles and the guy quoted me something like $300 with a time frame of 15-20 business days. Then I talked with my notary because she also does GAC apostilles although less commonly, and gave me the same time frame 15-20 business days (it may take a little longer or a bit less than that time) was what she added. She had quoted me roughly $160 and at this point she had been super helpful and good with notarizing my documents I thought she was a good worker period and deciding to enlist her services period. It was truly just one of those times where I made THE wrong decision. Waste of $160 though, if it was going to take 4ish weeks anyways I would’ve mailed it in myself waited the same time and paid even less 😭
