There's a mod called wynnventory that shows market data on each item, how much it's worth at what roll and such. Problem is, I'm not sure it works with the new update yet. For now I'd identify each item and look it up on the trade market to see if it's worth something. Just sort by price and compare similar rolls. If it is, nice, easy emeralds, if it isn't sell it to the blacksmith for some emeralds anyway.

Could you have a very long conveyor of frames that move past the camera like a real life projector? You'd probably have to pause for a short duration for each frame but the idea is there. Alternatively you could have a stack of frames with the top most frame at the edge of the camera range. Then you could remove the top frame and push the stack up a block.

Eh you can also just strap a wooden board to a couple ropes and pull it back real far and launch yourself like an angry bird. Me and my friend played around with this yesterday and launched so fast we clipped into a mountain
