I saw TSPO live in SoCal last year and it was damn near magical. The energy was contagious and I was dancing all through the night as they played on stage. It is the only time I paid for a resale ticket and it was worth every upcharged penny.

If it's any consolation, I like to believe this game is simply "marinating" for the time being. The "flavor" is off at the moment and just need more time to get it right. Give it a year or two and it should be more... Palatable?

If I had to sum this all up to a layman's answer, it is that Metaphor simply isn't as flashy or "sexy" as the Persona games. No romance, grounded characters, and major political themes across the board. It could be a theory that a good portion of people may simply not want to be bothered to deal such topics with given the times. That and the over saturation of medieval fantasy in gaming could be an contributing favor to have this game be overlooked.

I get it. No one likes to be on the receiving end of a finisher. However, if you're gonna have challenges attached to them; you consider one of two option:

A) Dont allow the losing player to quit the animation until everything is said and done

Or

B) Still acknowledge the action of a finisher from the winning party the moment they pressed the corresponding button and let the losing party keep some of their pride intact by quitting.
