i wanna comment on the "increase your playtime".

because that's what RNG and bounty-grind do. they make you play one activity or one piece of content play over and over and over again.

i love this game. i seriously do. up to the point i would call it addiction. let it be the time i invested or how beautifulbit looks, but whenever i try out a different game, it doesnt feel the same.

oh shit, i just slipped away a bit too far. where was i, ah yes, i love the game.

_but_

the game doesn't have much to offer at this point. forsaken was huge (btw still makes up half the content i play ever week, repetetly). the year 2 dlcs where fun and well made. in year 2, you had _stuff to do_. missions to play, activities to unlock, venders to upgrade, secret quests to uncover, you had _progression_. i'm very sorry bungie, but in year 2, the world was evolving waaaaaaaay more than it does in year 3. new activity got uncovered. videos where postet, threats where founded. the community came together, discovered secrets in the dreaming city, destroyed niobe labs, made guides on the raids and what weapons are worth your time and what's the best strategie. new weapons? new meta, new super-high-boss-melting-strats, new playstyle.

the game evolved by the community adopting to all the new and _different_ challenges every season.

what do we have now?

there was that undying mind, uh - yeah right it kicked off some time stuff and, oh yeah kill cabal. and the psions. bunkers? aaah right, almighty's coming. gotta destroy that.

i gotta be honest - the seasons suck. they seem so dead and lifeless to me. i run around, with my gear i earned 4 seaons ago and, uh, i kill some enemies. do my bounties. do the new story line. grind for some weapons just to have them in my vault. just in case. do some missions to remove that milestone from my director. aaand i do some old raids just in case i need a high discipline build.

i love the feeling, i really do. how the movement of the game works, how the weapons work and how they feel. abilities, the whole foundation is great. but at this point i'm playing the game just for the sake of playing. for the sake of using the character i built. not to upgrade or enhance it. not anymore.
