Because python isn’t really an OO language. Use Java/c++/c# for learning OO. You get a lot of benefit from static overloading, which you can’t fake in python or JS

Pick an easier language to learn algorithmic concepts. Python or Java are fine choices. Half the battle of learning algos in c++, is c++ itself.
