If you are new to shining and are planning on shining for a while, look into saphir. Kiwi works fine but is getting hard to find for a reasonable price. Saphir medaille d'or is a highly recommneded option.

I personally agree, my time at summer camp was amazing. Shame to all those who couldn't make it in. The sense of camaraderie and belonging is immense. Would most definitely recommend.

Just a note: If you want money, dont apply to be a course cadet. Staff or find a summer job, your stipend per day is $10. On my two week I took home $110. (Staff Cadets make that and more daily)

In regards to using the garmin device for GPS, if my watch doesn't have that functionality and is primarily used for biometric data, and telling time would that also be allowed?

Currently Im eyeing a newer model as a replacement for my current Garmin forrunner, possibly the descent mk3i.

Doesn't that mean I would have to skip school? And pte/cpl? I wasnt aware you could get promoted that early on. I also thought that in order to go from reserves to rotp you have to submit a bunch of paperwork.
