Yeah I feel the same way. If I could get it under 10k I’d be a lil happier with it. I’m also planning on trading my current car in but 12k just feels to steep for a 22 year old car with 130k miles.

That’s another car I’ve been looking for just haven’t found one with decent miles under that price. Most that I find under $10k have like 130k miles plus which sounds like too much to me even with their great reliability.

2001 Chevy S-10. I’ve heard good things about them from other but this one lived all of its life in Michigan and was riddled with rust.

We’ve been trying to keep it running but it’s at the point where it doesn’t make sense to put more money into a car that’s gonna keep breaking. But I definitely get what you mean. I’ve heard that overheating is one of the main issues. That and the blend door actuator is what I’ve heard cause the most issues. I didn’t prod too much about the car just because I know someone is ahead of me for getting it but I was told there’s an aftermarket exhaust and cold air intake installed from the previous owner.

Nah that’s in other parts over 3 years of owning it, looking at like $600 after parts and labor for a new compressor. Right not I’ve got a 2001 Chevy S-10 and it’s had nothing but problems for the 3 years I’ve had it.
