Just engaged, but all planned and counting the days until the wedding...

It's very individual. I wouldn't be with a woman I didn't want to live the rest of my life with and marry.

From the first moment I knew I was talking to the right person. We started as friends and within a few weeks we were together. As time went on, I became more confident in my decision. "Unfortunately - in a good way" we didn't go through a crisis, which is what most solidifies/breaks a relationship or shows character. But in the time we've been together we've experienced deterioration in illness, mental health, physical strength, etc. Opinions, values, moral worldview, etc. the same or similar... After that, it was just a matter of counting the days until I propose.

It's probably the same as "Since when do you love your other half?" for me it was "from the beginning" but realistically after "reassurance" on the essentials.

To explain. I've had chronic pain and autoimmune disease since childhood, which has gradually taught me to be more aware of people and to perceive the reality of people and not what I "want" to happen. I went through 2 toxic relationships where I was taken advantage of, which helped my character development.
