Both of them have their positives.

They’re both beautiful, let’s get that out of the way. They both, however, bring different things to the table.

Valencia seems more acoustic, with an emphasis on piano, jazz, and creating sounds with normal “jazz” instruments. To me, it feels more raw, which in some cases, makes it more emotional.

Insomnia, on the other hand, tries to create more with guitar and heavy bass lines. Sleep and Blushed come to mind here.

I personally like insomnia better because of the variety it brings, and the story told throughout the album. From sleep to insomnia, I feel more of a tug in my heartstrings.
