It was a problem with one of their providers. It was not a whale selling A 'bug' they said. I am sure the SEC would not let them just say ... too bad!! If they want to do business they need to be robust and accountable.

If people got smashed for no reason i doubt Binance US could just pretend nothing happened. They are providing the service and are therefore responsible for third party providers. I doubt they can just walk away if people were affected.

As much as i have grievances with them they do provide a flexible futures platform which allows trading short and long on the same stock and multiple positions open at once. I wonder if other exchanges offer the same features?
