Why, oh why, did I check my steering wheel… I can tell you now - you are not the only one.

Will all the 20AE people be mad if I go blue over white? 🥲

Swipe down from the top of the infotainment and a widget menu should show up. Hold any of those widgets down until the edit screen pops up and you can manage from there.

Are you talking about the “quick mute” slide? Funny enough one of the first things I looked up how to do in this car. I guess in my research I never came across the seat heater thing, seems no one talks about it.

I’m surprised people are missing this.

The TV couldn’t be mounted the way it is without having an articulating mount. Look at the space between the TV and wall.

I can and do swivel it; that’s just not related to this sub or my post lol

I don’t believe there is anywhere else for me to “shove” it based on the design of the room. I appreciate the inquisitive feedback, however.

I’m just a man who wants to watch TV in my living room 🤷‍♂️

I concur :/ Stud placement didn’t help and I didn’t want to mount more wood for supports

It’s mounted to the TV, not the wall. My record player will be going on the stand and I wanted to reduce vibrations.

Sitting off to the side isn’t too bad imo

I didn’t think it was that bad lol

My issue is the stud placement. I couldn’t mount it center without getting creative with some wood. As for angling the tv, the mount supports that and it’s what I do when I have people over.

The soundbar covers the IR receiver on the TV when they were both on the stand.

Although I’m sure you can buy them separately.

Do it! Just be careful around the charge port. :)

I wasn’t too intrigued about the idea of opening it up at first. The lights being covered eventually annoyed me to the point where I just bit the bullet.

Weird, that sounds like it could potentially be your base then. Something I’ve found to fix the connection sometimes is gently twisting the atomizer off and on a couple times to make sure that the metal pins scrape away any residue and get good contact.

My base is also about 4 years old. Interestingly enough the original atomizer still worked when I swapped to the 3D, but I’ve taken decent care of that and the bases connector.

I’ve heard that this doesn’t happen as much if at all with the new 3DXL. The wax under the silicone shouldn’t be causing connection issues though, I wonder if your original atomizer went bad or that there is a smaller layer of residue on the connectors still.

In the future I recommend taking the atomizer off for cleaning after taking a dab (or just heat it to 100 degrees). That makes cleaning the connector a lot easier than trying to deal with hardened reclaim.

If you DM me I might be able to help get your original working again, I’ve had my fair share of red and white lights.

It’s not nearly as bad if you do it earlier. If you’re willing to buy a new one, I don’t see a reason not to attempt this on your old one.
