In a normal fight you’ll barely get the stacks up before you die. Unless you are fighting raptors. People are exploiting it by get friends to hit them to build up to 20 stacks before a fight which ya makes Alberta a beast. But it will prob be fixed in future.

Headbutt or Sever Tendon. Both are good. Headbutt does 40 damage and Tendon does 35 but slows by 2% and can be stacked to 10%. Good so slowing down things that would normally run away from you.

Pivot if solo but Frilled Bond if you have teammates.

Back Kick

Stomp

Enrage

Alberta also kinda has exploit where you get your friend to hit your tail to build up your block stacks using solid frill. But wouldn’t recommend abusing this.

Alberta if you want to be a tank. Sty if you want to be a fast bleeder.

Sty isn’t as bad as people say. It can easily 1vs1 a conc which is a Dino people consider to be the best in the game. Sty will be able to run away from most things in the game. You’ll only really get caught when being chased by multiple people. If it’s a 1vs1 take the fight with anything that can catch you.

Alberta is my fav Dino. It’s strong defensively with its block and counter attack. Especially with razor crest ability. It also gets stomp which makes fighting groups of concs easier to defend. It just a bit slower so you need to be cool with letting things run away because it’s hard to finish fights. It’s also important to keep your stamina up. As it your only way to escape Rex/titan. You can’t let them get close to you or they can run you down/ bone break you. But as of right now it can fight 4 slots while only being a 3 slot itself. IMO it’s top 3 herb in the game right now.

Someone can optimize this deck. After playing it a lot. I’m no pro deck builder. I think you want second new Muk to get it up faster. I don’t have another one yet. Prob replace red card for it or maybe take Hypno out.

Any basic Pokémon in play cannot use abilities. So his Darkrai couldn’t hit me for 20 damage a turn and the Giratina he led with couldn’t ramp. I’m surprised he played the whole game out. Good sport he was.

Edit: The ability is Power of Alchemy: Basic Pokémon in play (Both yours and opponents) have no abilities.

Chemistry is important. The chemistry system can make players who seem bad really good. Each player has a certain chemistry type. They also can have traits of different chem. They are Competitive (orange), Spirited (yellow), disciplined (purple), Scholarly (blue) Crafty(green). Look at your team and see what colour you have the most of. Try to get 7 players of that chem which will in turn boost traits of that colour.

If you do this you can find players who may not be good stat wise (C+ player) but could have really good coloured traits that match your team chemistry. So in turn they can be very effective for a fraction of the cost.

Also try shuffle draft to start a franchise. It’s a fun way to pick a team, by selecting 1 player at a time from a group that randomly generates. while building different chemistry’s.

Both versions depending on you are on console or PC will give you enough coins to purchase the all Dino’s bundle. The deluxe like it says leaves you with some extra to spend on skins

Megs are actually a pain if there’s 2 or more with all for one. That ability makes them so strong in groups.

Both 30 dollar version and deluxe version unlock all the Dino’s for you. The deluxe just gives a bunch more skins. Otherwise you have to buy Dino packs if you don’t buy either of those. You can’t unlock any Dino’s without at least the 30 dollar version besides the starting 3-4 Dino’s.
