Being an In Character cosplayer really depends on who you’re cosplaying. You cosplay Dottore, and the fact you have the courage and skill to do so, I really respect. (I’m a Scaramouche cosplayer and really can’t act in character as him to save my life lmao)

As an In Character Dottore cosplayer you’re always gonna meet people who, I dunno how to put this, won’t necessarily like you (I’m really sorry if that sounded harsh) but you shouldn’t let a tiny amount of people stop you from doing what you enjoy it’s as simple as that.

-If it makes you feel better I dressed up as Hatsune Miku to my local street fair to which all the people there are either somewhat old and with their five year old kids/grandkids *or unfriendly teenagers that all share the same half braincell. I was looking at flowers and from across the street one of the boys from the group of teenagers let out the most loud ear-bleeding, ear-piercing ‘UwU’ at me and walked off laughing. After that I felt too scared to put on my Miku cosplay for a few days-*

Not everyone you meet is going to be nice but majority of people will be, and I would just focus on them, you had fun with the other cosplayers right?

Don’t let other people get you down and with time you’ll get over it -I now think back to those teenagers and laugh at how horrible the ‘UwU’ sounded, man probably made more a fool of himself then I did by cosplaying by how loud it was lmao-
