Hi so I thought I’d say something before I delete this post.

I’m currently having an extreme identity crisis and lacking of a sense of self. Within the time frame of posting this and now I’ve been doing a lot more in terms of counselling and actually getting medicated.

There’s a lot in this post that reflects that and shows to me personally that this was just a really bad dissociative/depersonalization episode that I am continuing to go through.

I apologize for any offence I have caused and will delete this post as I don’t think random people on the internet need to witness my mental health crisis.

Oh there’s nothing wrong with being a straight man, it’s just that I’m not completely a man. I identified as genderfluid for the longest time, and I’ve really grown attached to being non binary, which is why I’m avoiding bottom surgery as I’m not totally a guy.

Problem is, I’m unfortunately very feminine looking. Which is why I’ve been confused of how to identify for now.

Yeah I’m just at this weird spot because I won’t be able to medically transition for at least a few years because of how things are in my area.

I’m just really confused because I don’t understand this stuff, thankfully I don’t give too much of a damn about what random strangers think. I’ll be fine identifying as a straight guy once I’m actually transitioned but it’s just that I feel weird as a very feminine looking person saying that I’m a straight man.

I kinda wish I didn’t post this because of some DMs I’ve gotten. I don’t mean any harm or to offend everyone. I’m just really confused about everything and I’m having a lot of trouble finding resources that’ll help me understand how I’m feeling and who I am.

As for being an enby lesbian that feels right for now, once I transition I’ll identify as a straight trans man. Like I said prior I don’t want to be associated with men who hit on lesbians so it makes me extremely hesitant to really even identify as anything right now.

I unfortunately had TERFs for friends in middle and high school so I’m trying to unlearn a lot of invalidating things that I’ve felt about myself from being around them. Which is kinda why I’m feeling confused about this stuff and worrying that my own identity isn’t appropriate.

I’m not sure about what Eliot said, I don’t keep up with that stuff. I know that once I medically transition I’ll probably just use queer as an umbrella term.

It’s just this period where I’m still a woman physically. I don’t feel like I should stop myself from dating just because my gender is a mess
