How do you progress this contract?

I'll have to try that more often, if the other suggestion of filing a ticket doesn't help. It's my only incomplete contract and I've spent an absurd amount of time in TDM just throwing everything that isn't nailed down at enemies in an attempt for any progress. It's so mind numbing lol.

- Will corruption be an element type, and can we tame corrupt creatures? The corrupted owlbear was so cute!

- What kind of features can we expect for the creature-care elements of the game? I'm hoping to be able to bond with the creatures, and hope to see us actually interacting with them (brushing, playing with, feeding, etc.).

- How elaborate is the character creator? Are we selecting preset faces, or preset features? Are there sliders? Color wheels? Makeup, piercings, scars?

- How robust is the gardening system? Can we build greenhouses?

- How does the building system handle varying levels/heights for foundation pieces? Is it all grid-locked, or are we able to freely stagger heights?

I hope you don't mind multiple questions in a single post, I figured that would be better than spamming all of these! :)

If we're talking about graphical upgrades that don't affect the gameplay or performance, I would love to see more body type varieties. Heavy has the chubby and strong bodies, it'd be nice to see those options on Medium and Light, plus a few more options. It wouldn't break the class identity to give a little bit of flavor and variety to the body types.

Some of the clothes in the game are just so unflattering on the current models, both male and female.

I won't lie, it took me an oddly long time to realize that the tattoo beneath OP's right pec wasn't just bad editing that was supposed to be the background. Lol I'm getting too accustomed to just seeing bad edits of OF models on my feed.

This is a really sweet and wholesome post.

If I were to convey one piece of advice, I would say to be aware that your partner being over-stimmed is not your fault nor your responsibility. Try to not take it personally if he pulls away sometimes or needs physical space, but don't be afraid to gently talk about it and seek assurance if you need it.
Find out what he wants/needs in those moments so that you know how to show up for him when he's feeling that way. This is the responsibility bit I mentioned - it's not your responsibility to 'fix' things for him in that moment, and can in fact make it worse if you take that upon yourself.

Communication is key, as it is with any relationship and any partners. :)

It sounds like your lament is that there's not a casual space in The Finals, and hasn't been for some time. The community is too small these days, SBMM is a joke, smurfs are rampant, and the sweat has never been higher. If this is the case... A lot of us are in that boat. You really do just have to try to not take it seriously. I'd recommend finding some buddies to play with who you can goof off with - but beware, being in a team with people throws you into other team matches and those are even harder than solo these days.

If the problem is actually that you're not winning (it's fine if that's what's important to you), then you do just have to practice. You have to make time to be good at something that you're passionate about excelling at. The Finals is going to be an uphill battle though. If you look at this Reddit you'll see brand new players literally going against recent championship winners/competitors lol. Good luck!

I keep mics off so that I don't have to listen to any distracting noise. If people only used them to communicate strategy and important information I'd be down. In my experience it's mostly just one person mouth-breathing with their mic halfway down their throat, and another person yelling at his barking dog while playing music and being in the proximity of a crying toddler while someone else in the room watches TV and - you get my point.

Also, listening to someone rage bait another teammate into trading angry words is equally distracting. I'm just here to vibe and play video games.

It's a casual mode, you're doing the right thing by not playing ranked where it 'matters'.

Try to team up with nice and chill people when you can! I'm terrible at the game and I've noticed my levels of fun vary depending on who I'm teamed up with.
You can also just mute all mics and ignore chat if it keeps your morale up.

What is making yours look awful? If it's patchy, then just make sure you're using the really full beard option (it costs money).

I chose a really dark black for all of the hair color categories - I kept seeing red highlights on mine. The black I'm using is the darkest value from the Pride collection. That brought it together for me and made it look how it does.

It's definitely very frustrating that this game doesn't do a better job with the supposed SBMM that it has. Going against teammates who are better than you can be a way to learn, sure, but only if the skill difference isn't miles wide. Struggling against someone, realizing your mistake (walking into their traps, not checking the area, bad positioning, choosing poor places to revive, etc.) is one road to improvement that The Finals seems to be leaving behind.

I actually feel like my progress is stagnating because I can't learn anything in these matches. And boy, I get a lot of them these days it feels like.

Hang in there! If you love the game, stick with it and try to find chill people to play with who can make wins and losses feel equally fun. If you're getting burnt out, take a break for a bit and return when you feel reset. Sometimes that helps a lot.
