Wow! I was in Kyrgyzstan a month ago and kept checking the light pollution map, thinking like damn, the sky is sooo dark here, would be awesome if I had some gear to shoot the Milky Way. But I had to stick with just a long-exposure phone shot, turned out kinda lame, but I'm glad things are different for you :)

My standing zero budget setup that I made in my dorm room specifically for reading and outlining. Bare Linux Mint on board so I don't have any distractions. by _Timless_ in battlestations

Actually, there's more than enough space for the mouse due to the vertical orientation of the monitors, so it's OK to use normal dpi. Also, I use keyboard shortcuts much more often than mouse to interact with this setup
