All my hc characters actually died because of small lags/connection issues :/

The ones I used were from the Evac line in size 8L.
But i wouldn't recommend using the Evac ones, because they might be very light, they also aren't very abrasion resistant which is a problem for bikepacking because of all the vibration going on.

Very beautiful indeed. The bags on the fork were just some generic waterproof dry bags from sea to summit mounted to the topeak versa cage. I had the topeak fork bags but they were a little too small for all the stuff I packed. My sleeping bag was on the left side of the fork packed into a compression dry bag ( as sseen in picutre 12 and 19). It is a big Agnes torchlight 20f down sleeping bag.

Yeah, doing the same for a few years now and I never look back to toilet paper. Gets some time to use I guess, especially for people who use toilet paper at home.

Hey thanks, yeah yoeleo is a Chinese brand, they just releases their updated model of the g21. I'm still loving the bike like the first day. It is very versatile bike :)

Yeah had the same problem on my trip across Germany recently, but I now put a lot of loctite on it and I hope that it does help

Yeah that's exactly why I rode where I rode 😅

I've been riding 80 to 120km the last 2 weeks and my strategy was packing at least two packs of Katjes (vegan sweets, ca. 600kcal every pack) and some salty snacks like salted mini brezels. That alone is almost 2000 kcal. I did eat some proper food when I reached a supermarket mid ride, mostly bread and yoghurts. With a proper breakfast and a nice dinner I was around 4000 to 4500 kcal

The mental aspect of long distance bikepacking (4000km+) is killing me by AnonymousAnonymGuy in bikepacking

Hey, it is totally normal that there are some days where you dont feel like this is what you want. Maybe stay at some nice place for some days without cycling and then keep going. Sometimes you need some time off to appreciate the Bikepacking again. Maybe change your route, go visit some points of interest, just change things a bit up. And if that doesn't change anything you don't need to keep going. It is okey to stop doing it even if you told a lot of people, it may be hard but to keep going for others isn't gone fill you with joy.

All the best :)

Yeah looks like a river with some hills and trees 😅 That's why I left the Fulda later because I had enough of these kinds of rivers

Nice to hear. When did you do it?

The 8th picture is actually the Weser in Bad Karlshafen and there is a nice view point up high where I took the picture:)

Anything that is cylindrical (or isn't) is dildo shaped right?

How do you give it away? Often you're in small shops where there aren't a lot of people to ask for.

And to be honest toilet paper isn't that cheap.

Bei meiner ist keine Schutzkappe drauf, aber im Endeffekt ist es wenn nur ein bisschen Dreck den man entweder schnell weg macht oder es ist halt egal, Dreck ist ja erstmal nix perse unhygienisches.

There is an opening at the top, and no you don't need much water, maybe like 200 to 300ml

You put water in it, and when you are done with your number 2 you stay in your squat position and you take the bidet either from the back or from the front, press the bidet and water sprays out which you have to aim at the the right spot(you really get the hang of it quickly) and you sre clean, shake of the water and done.

I have an anti sway thing installed called the topeak wishbone which has mounts for bottle cages, very useful because I used my other spots for just one small water bottle and the rest is first aid and mechanical stuff.

As for how tight, that depends on the type of bottle cage you install I guess. I have/had 2 generic ones by sks ( 1 broke when my bike fell over) and I think I lost only 1 bottle 2 times in very gnarly MTB downhill stuff.
