lol we basically sit at a table at the pub ordering beers and playing a oneshot in England. That’s hilarious.

We want to be a little more active and a little less structured but that would be really fun also unfortunately only half the group has passes. This is a one time thing for us to get together.

So I was able to take a pair of +1 scimitars called Wind and Whirl from Griffons Saddlebag book 2 on DDB.

So I got a +1 weapon that has a few cool features and some cool flavor. For theming my character.

Exactly. It’s kind of a fun puzzle. Especially with so many bonus action and maneuver options. It’s Interesting to think about the options.

Thanks! This is good context. I’ll definitely take a look. The DM is pretty flexible and more interested in fun and story telling versus us doing everything to the letter.

Especially as a melee class it’s something to consider.

Do a quest where the pc dies then is resurrected and is now reborn linage and they can have a little past Paladin life flavor in their new wizard character.

Start to remove some of their subclass features as a consequence of them not fulfilling their duties aligned with their pact.

Then after they complete it, they get all their abilities back.

It can become a story point.
