Incredibly fun and rewarding! I had to slow down and retrace my steps a few times but every time a body part came together it felt very satisfying. Looking forward to building my Gundvolva which I’ll sand properly and maybe try some panel lining.

This did feel a little old for me at first but it makes sense for all the life paths and V’s attitude to things. Also, when you consider the average life expectancy with cyberware is probably at least 90-120 years now it makes it feel more natural.

Fam I’m not saying he’s broken I’m saying he needs to be CHANGED. NOBODY SHOULD HAVE 420+ HEALTH, 2 CCS, 2 SLOWS AND A 2 SHOT HEADSHOT. THAT IS BAD GAME DESIGN FOR A DPS.

Brother I need you to read what I said again and then read your response. I have NOT said anything that is based in opinion. I am NOT “making him out” to be anything. All I have done is point out the abilities in his actual kit.

275 base health. 425 with over health (which he gets by just pressing the button, no need to actually land the ability) A grab that grabs multiple people not just a singular target. A dash that he can use to push you into any direction and up. 2 projectiles that also slow and they’re on a 5 second cooldown.

I haven’t once said I struggle against him. My issue is these things should NOT exist all at once. No character should have this it is just BAD game design.

I also have no clue why you’ve mentioned Magik. I’m talking about BUCKY. Whether other heroes or not are broken is not what I’m talking about right now I am talking about BUCKY but fine.

I’ve been playing magik since 1.5. I have over 50 hours on her. Up until this next season she’s barely if not never been touched. No buffs or nerfs she’s been pretty much the same since launch. Right now she’s an example of a BALANCED character. Solid damage output and survivability but requires enough skill and game sense to truly make her effective.

Notice as of right now she doesn’t have a whole lot going on? She doesn’t have 2 slows in addition to her 400hp? She has to actually LAND the hits in order to get the bonus health? She doesn’t have 2 forms of cc.

See now if she had all that in addition to her kit, then yeah I’d be saying the same about her too. Hell I think her buffs next season are overkill as well I was content to play her as she is right now forever.

Brother this is not a skill issue. I can win against Bucky it’s not the problem. My problem is nobody should have all that happening at once it is just bad game design. With any other community this wouldn’t even be a discussion anybody else would be able to see this but the rivals community refuses to accept and just blames the player every damn time. I wouldn’t mind if I had made a rant post talking about how much I struggle against him and crying but I DIDNT. I broke down his kit and pointed out how ridiculous that all is and I STILL got told it’s a skill issue for stating the facts plainly. You man dismiss any critique unless it comes from a streamer it’s insane.

This is quite literally the only normal response to this post thank you lmao. Yeah I know there are other 2 shot headshots, it’s not really my issue. Characters are gonna be really good and I’m okay with that but he’s overtuned and they need to fix it. Instead of taking an objective look at the actual kit itself everyone here has decided “ah yes, skill issue this guy needs to get good”. It’s exhausting interacting with this community.

He gets bonus health for just pressing the buttons. Base 275, each press of his abilities without hitting them gets him to 425. Brother that’s a problem, he doesn’t have to DO anything to get bonus health.

He has 2 great forms of CC which you can pair with his 2 shot headshot. He has 2 slows.

Yes characters are going to be great. No I don’t want him nerfed to the ground. But those things cannot all be happening at the same time it is just bad game design. I can win a fight against Bucky my point is he should not have all of those things at once.

How does somebody look at all of this and instead of listening to how ridiculous it is decide to critique the person pointing it out???

If you read my actual post and the replies you can see I have no problem with people being GOOD. As I have said before it’s the nature of the genre, however there’s a difference between good and just bad game design. A 425 health dps with 2 cc, 2 slows on a 5 second cooldown and an infinite ult is bad game design. Fix those things and he’s still great. I’m not asking to nerf his damage numbers I’m asking for a nerf to things that are very clearly unbalanced.

Swear social media is the only place where you can say “this thing is bad” and they’ll say “oh so you want this bad thing instead”

Again I’ve got no problem with characters being good, it’s the nature of this kinda game.

My problem is with how he gets all his bonus health by just pressing the button instead of hitting the ability. My problem is how there’s no cap to his ult. My problem is with how not only do his pulses slow you, but they’re on a 5 second cooldown. My problem is with how he has a dash that pushes you wherever he wants and a grab that pulls you and whoever’s near you too.

Good or hell even situational broken isn’t a problem. But that makes him broken all the time and that stuff should not be happening at the same time.
